Slender House is a concept project using heavy timber frame construction to create an open ground floor with uninterrupted views of the landscape. The upper floor contains the private areas of the house, with shaded bedrooms and a mezzanine that overlooks the living space below.

Metal grate screens wrap the exterior, shading the interior and providing privacy while keeping views open from inside. On the ground floor, full-width folding doors allow the living areas to open completely to the outside.

The house is designed for efficient construction, with the focus placed on the quality of the interior spaces and their connection to the site.
